Otis, the Goldendoodle teenager was such a fun photoshoot. As a Goldendoodle owner myself, I know how high energy and how curious these dogs can be - especially at the puppy/adolescent stage. Otis was no exception. With retriever (mix) or waterdog owners, I always ask at the beginning of the session whether we should stay away from water in the park. Otis' mum told me he is not interested in it and has never swum. Sure enough, Otis discovered during our photoshoot, that water was fun and swimming even more! So for half the session, we had a wet dog in front of the camera. His mum took it in stride, knowing that the photos will simply portrait who he really is - an adventurous pup. And I loved that.
